Breakable

by Ingrid Michaelson

Have you ever thought about what protects our hearts?
Just a cage of rib bones and other various parts.
So it's fairly simple to cut right through the mess,
And to stop the muscle that makes us confess.

And we are so fragile,
And our cracking bones make noise,
And we are just,
Breakable, breakable, breakable girls and boys.

Two reasons for putting this up:
1) This clip kind of suits me tonight. I'm a little bit miserable.
2) I've been enjoying this album very much. In general, it's a happy CD.

A friend of mine raves about her, but I haven't checked it out yet. And I'd like nothing more than for you to be in the city when I am in the city. How well do you know Kayela? I'm staying with her...come down!!!
